Synchronized Skating is sweeping the nation — and is now available at Ice Line Quad Rinks in West Chester, Pennsylvania!

Synchro, as it is called, is a fast-growing discipline of figure skating that combines the athleticism and artistry of singles, pairs and ice dancing with the timing and coordination required for 8-20 skaters to perform as one. Synchro team members skate to music as a team, moving as one flowing unit with speed, intricate formations and challenging step sequences.

Figure skating is traditionally an individual sport. Synchro offers all of the benefits of team unity, builds self-confidence, teaches good sportsmanship and creates new lifelong friendships, while improving your skating skills at a competitive level.

Learning the skills of synchronized skating will enhance your abilities as a figure skater in freestyle, moves in the field and dance! Many advanced figure skaters and USFS gold medalists participate in synchronized skating. Team skating provides conditioning and additional skills not taught in normal figure skating sessions. Skaters will improve their technique, speed, posture, presentation and style.

Synchronized skating is just not for beginners or younger skaters. Synchronized Team Skating is now one of the fastest growing collegiate sports!

Currently, there are approximately 600 synchronized teams registered with U.S. Figure Skating, and nearly 5,000 athletes participate annually in the synchronized skating sectional championships. Register for an Audition for the IceLiners Synchronized Skating Team →
